This term in Hurumanu 3 we are learning about disasters and words that are related to disasters and what they mean

This work shows my learning because it is the words and what they mean.

I am wondering more about different words and what they really mean.

Natural Disaster - A Disaster that was made by natural causes.

Wreckage - What is left of a breakage / Disaster 

Bravery - The condition of not feeling fear

Lahar - a mudflow down the side of a volcano

Heroism - Act courageous / courageous behaviour 

Aftershock - a small earthquake after a few large ones

Richter Scale - A logarithmic scale from one to ten that is used to measure the intensity and magnitude of an earthquake 

Disaster - Something bad that happens and destroys stuff or harms people

Casualty - A person that is killed, harmed, or missing in action

Destruction - Ruining or completely destroying something

Damage - a harm or injury that can make an item less valuable or less usable.

Debris - Scattered pieces left after something that has been destroyed
